Lucy Brazill, has had a passion for writing since childhood, finding true joy in creating characters, that she inevitably falls in love with, all whilst telling their stories. Inspired by her grandfather, Lucy’s love of history has always held a deep-seated place in her heart, and this has shaped every aspect of her writing. For her, there’s nothing more magical than watching the past come to life when pen meets paper.
She’s also a huge fan of a beautiful love story, think Lizzie Bennet & Mr Darcy, Jane Eyre & Mr Rochester, Claire & Jamie Fraser. Having been surrounded her whole life by these wonderful literary figures, Lucy is beyond thrilled to have written her own historical love story in the form of her debut novel, The Girl Before Dawn.
Lucy lives in the Suffolk countryside with her incredibly supportive husband and their two wonderful children. When she’s not writing, she runs an award winning children’s business
