Ernest H. Jacob, born in Biel, Switzerland, in 1975, usually spends his time typing away as a software developer. As a qualified electrician, electrical engineer and social worker, he values variety and versatility. Driven by an interest in archaeology and history, he has even picked up a spade and helped out with an official excavation in the Middle East.
Inspired by author friends, he eventually discovered his passion for writing books. On his travels, he also visited all the locations featured in his debut thriller. He has since swapped his backpack for a laptop and lives with his family near Bern.
