About the Role

The successful candidate will assist the rights management team by performing the following duties: 

  • Assist the team in the preparation and management of contracts 
  • Assist in the preparation of Royalty Statements
  • Manage licence renewals
  • Manage translators and proofreaders including drafting contracts and agreeing terms
  • Assist the audio rights manager in identifying titles and preparing materials for sub-licencing
  • Keeping presentations and rights information up to date
  • Liaising and cooperating with departments across the company including editorial, production, sales and marketing
  • Maintaining accurate records of contracts, rights and sub-rights information in an efficient manner

Skills:

  • A Foundational knowledge of standard contractual terms
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational ability
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, motivated, inquiring and flexible
  • Actively show initiative and ability to work independently
  • Excellent eye for detail and a high level of organisation
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and handle tasks efficiently
  • Demonstrable familiarity with Windows, particularly excel, as well as project and work management platforms and AI tools.
  • A flexible, enthusiastic and can-do attitude are essential 
  • High proficiency in German, French and English languages
